Chamber Orchestra
Chamber orchestra is composed of orchestra students from both Indian Hills and Stilwell Jr. High. The group members are selected by auditions. This group offers the advanced student the opportunity to play more challenging music. The chamber orchestra rehearses on Tuesday mornings before school at Indian Hills.
TAKE NOTE!
The West Des Moines Schools will be taking a group of 7th and 8th graders from the district to China in March. Auditions were held on November 7.
Twenty-six students auditioned, and final numbers should be available in early December. Parents of students going on the trip are also welcome. This is a 9-day trip to a foreign language school in Shijihuang, with some sight-seeing in Beijing.
