Welcome! 

Welcome to the Valley Orchestra Guild website! We are extremely pleased to present a comprehensive guide to Valley Orchestra Guild activities and news of the entire orchestra program in the West Des Moines Community School District.

The Guild (or VOG) is very active in sponsoring activities for all orchestra students in grade 4-12. From renting violins/violas at a low cost to students to co-hosting a weeklong residency by the Bryant Park Quartet (New York City), we strive to enhance the musical education provided by the WDMSC.

It is our hope that this website will help keep you informed about our programs as well as orchestra-related news. Take your time to browse through the information presented. Be sure to stop back as we are still developing the site and we will be updating the site frequently.

SPECIAL EVENT THIS WEEK:

What: "IMPACT OF ART"

             A West Des Moines                       

             showing of student artwork.

When:  Thursday, January 19th,    

              6:30  to  8:00 p.m.

Where:  Des Moines Art Center

Why:    You will be treated to a 

                  wonderful display of student

              artwork and listen to the

               sounds of several Valley

               Southwoods string quartets.
